Chitwan-Nepal

The jungle was thick and the Asian rhino held its ground, blocking our way back to the huts. Our guide whispered to us to follow, as we dropped down ten feet over the riverbank. As we moved quietly by, the rhino stood just a few feet above us. Once past, our guide motioned for us to follow him. He then took off running – up the bank, across the open field and into the woods. We stood there looking at each other for a second or two not really comprehending what he had just done…then each of us ran in panic to catch up. Once in the trees we caught our breath, laughed and shook our heads.  Chitwan
